Samsung Galaxy A50s and A30s India launch

Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s in India. The two new Galaxy A-series phones are upgraded versions of the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 that were launched in India earlier this year. The A50s and A30s tout new designs, upgraded triple camera system and faster processors compared to their predecessors. The new Galaxy A50s and A30s have now been listed on Samsung India’s official website.

The Galaxy A50s and A30s price and availability are yet to be announced by the company. The website has listed the two smartphones along with their RAM variants only. The Galaxy A50s comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM options, while the Galaxy A30s is listed with 4GB of RAM. Samsung will likely announce the prices and availability details of the two new phones soon and we will update this story as and when we hear about them.

Update: Samsung has announced that the Galaxy A50s is prices at Rs 22,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and Rs 24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB option. The Galaxy A30s price is set at Rs 16,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model. Both the phones will be availabele India starting today i.e September 11, across offline stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung e-shop and e-commerce portals.

The Galaxy A50s and A30s will be available with telecom offers such as double data on Rs 198 and 299 prepaid plans for Jio subscribers, Double Data on the Rs 249, Rs 299 and Rs 349 plans for Airtel users and cashback offers for Vodafone users.

Samsung Galaxy A30s specifications

The Galaxy A30s sports a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V. The resolution has been downgraded from FHD+ on the Galaxy A30. Much like the A50s, the Galaxy A30s also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with storage expandability support up to 512GB via microSD card.

The triple camera setup on the back has been upgraded to offer a 25-megapixel f/1.7 main camera, 5-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera. Like the A50s, the A30s also houses a 4,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging over Type-C. The Galaxy A30s and A50s come with a diagonal pattern design ona glossy rear panel. The A30s will be available in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White and Prism Crush Violet colour options.

The Galaxy A50s brings a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and supports in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an Exynos 9610 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with microSD card support.

The Galaxy A50s also gets an upgraded triple camera setup on the back that now includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and 5-megapixel depth sensor. The A50s houses a 4,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging over Type-C.
